Shipping Information

All shipping is arranged directly by the seller, not HiBid. Here is more information.

Is Shipping Available?

Shipping availability, cost, and method vary by seller. You can find shipping information in the Auction Details section, under Shipping / Pick Up. Always read the Terms & Conditions on the auction page as well. Please reach out and contact the auctioneer if there is any confusion about the shipping status or shipping cost of an item.

To confirm:

  1. Return to the auction details page.

  2. In the drop down toward the bottom of the page, click "Shipping / Pick Up".

  3. This will contain the sellers shipping and/or pick up details

  4. If status is still in question, click Auctioneer Information link on the item or auction. Reach out via phone or other preferred contact method.

Also,

  1. Return to the auction page where you placed your bids.

  2. Click "View Terms & Conditions."

  3. Look for sections labeled Shipping, Shipping Terms, or Shipping Instructions.

Not all sellers offer shipping. Some may offer local pickup only.

Who Arranges Shipping?

The seller generally handles the shipping. There are companies, however, that leave this to the bidder to organize. If shipping is handled by the auction company, this would be included:

  • Packaging

  • Carrier selection

  • Shipping cost and payment

  • Insurance (if offered)

HiBid does not coordinate or guarantee shipping. We always recommend reaching out to the seller in advance if you have any questions.

What If I Have Questions?

If you have questions about:

  • Whether shipping is available

  • Shipping costs

  • How and when items will be shipped

You must contact the seller before bidding. Use the “Contact Auctioneer” button on the auction page to ask for clarification.

Check Shipping Info Before You Bid

Before placing a bid, review all auction terms to ensure:

  • The seller offers shipping for your item(s)

  • You’re aware of any shipping restrictions or fees

  • You’ve confirmed all logistics with the seller if needed

After the Auction

If the auction offers shipping:

  • Watch for communication from the seller

  • They may send a separate invoice or request shipping details

  • If you don’t hear from the seller, reach out to confirm next steps
